Kate Eisenpress

Kate Eisenpress manages grantmaking under the Children and Families program related to advancing our Early Childhood Education and Mental and Behavioral Health Services objectives.

Kate has more than 15 years of experience in advancing equitable outcomes for children and families though public-philanthropic partnerships. Most recently, Kate worked as the Director of Early Childhood Strategic Initiatives for the City of Philadelphia where she led strategy and coordination of investments that strengthen the city’s early childhood system. Prior to this role, Kate worked at the Community Learning Center Institute in Cincinnati, OH, where she implemented public-private partnerships at Community Schools and focused on aligning early childhood education systems with elementary schools. Kate began her career as a high school English teacher in Lake Village, AR. She currently lives in Queen Village with her husband and children.

Kate holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy from New York University and bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric from Bates College.
