Respond to emerging developments of citywide and regional significance.

As a funder in the Philadelphia region for nearly 80 years, we see it as our responsibility to lead in ways that advance important initiatives and respond to changing needs across the city and region. In fact, that is one of our stated grantmaking values.

This objective is designed to fill gaps, address time-sensitive needs, and support work that will advance citywide or regional issues and falls outside of the defined objectives of our five programs.

In advancing this objective, we do not anticipate issuing RFPs. Instead, we ask interested individuals to review the criteria for projects considered under this objective. Should you feel that your project meets those criteria, you are welcome to contact us to initiate discussion about the potential for funding.
