Ebony English manages grantmaking under the Children and Families program related to advancing our Advocacy for Child-Serving Systems and Teacher Preparation objectives.

Before joining the Foundation, Ebony served as Director of Program Strategy for an education nonprofit. In that role, she supported innovation partnerships and strategy. Her previous experience includes coaching teachers and leaders, designing professional development opportunities for educators, and teaching early childhood and middle school.

Ebony graduated from Purdue University with Bachelor's degrees in Professional Writing and Communications. She received a Master's degree in Education from Mercer University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
