Bob manages communications for the Foundation’s Children and Families team. His role focuses on sharing stories and highlighting the efforts of grantees working to support the healthy development and academic success of young Philadelphians.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Bob worked at the National Writing Project (NWP), in support of communications, advocacy, and public affairs to a nationwide network of 170 local Writing Project sites, including the Philadelphia Writing Project located at Penn GSE. Before his time at NWP, he served as a Philly Fellows AmeriCorps/VISTA at Campus Philly. In this role, he led the design and creation of the community engagement program, connecting area college students to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Bob holds a B.A. in English Literature and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
