Veronica Thomas

Veronica serves as a Program Assistant on the Great Learning team, bringing a mix of project management, operations management, and program building experience. With a master's degree in Project Management, Veronica will support the team in their daily operations as they work to improve educational outcomes for Philadelphia's youngest learners. She previously worked with a Houston-based grassroots non-profit providing healing resources to Black women healing from sexual assault trauma. She is the founder and editor of Call + Response Journal, a not-for-profit art and literary journal that publishes work by creatives of color.

Veronica has a Bachelor's degree in Africology and African American Studies with a minor in English from Temple University. She also holds a Human Resources and Management specialization from The University of Minnesota.
