Elizabeth Thompson

Liz Thompson is a Senior Evaluation and Learning Officer focused primarily on evaluating the impact of the Foundation’s Watershed Protection Program.

Liz has nearly 20 years of experience advising foundations and nonprofits on strategy development, program monitoring, and evaluation. Liz spent over 15 years with Patrizi Associates as a Senior Director, designing and conducting evaluations of foundation and nonprofit initiatives and program strategies. Prior to working with Patrizi Associates, Liz was a Vice President at Sutton Group, a marketing research and communications firm, where she evaluated communication campaigns, designed and managed audience research studies and market assessments to advance social change initiatives.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. She also has several published papers on developing and tracking foundation strategies.
