Alison Jones

Program Associate

Alison is a Program Associate on the Watershed Protection team, supporting the team's grantmaking to create the conditions for a healthy Delaware River watershed.

Previously, Alison spent four years with the non-profit organization Clean Ocean Action. As the Watershed Program Manager, she coordinated and managed statewide beach cleanups and community science water quality monitoring programs. She has water quality monitoring experience with NJ Department of Environmental Protection and U.S. Geological Survey. Alison served a 10-month AmeriCorps term as a New Jersey Watershed Ambassador, where she provided over 100 environmental education presentations to the public to raise awareness about water quality issues.

Alison holds a B.S. in Biology & Environmental Studies from Hobart & William Smith Colleges.
