Barbara Scace


Barbara assumes primary responsibility for the administration and legal compliance of the Foundation's grantmaking policies and procedures, which include an average of over 400 active grants with a total payout of $80 million annually. She has a leadership role in the design and implementation of workflow systems that utilize technology to improve productivity and efficiency in the Foundation's work. In addition, she is the primary point of contact for office operations, facility and building management.

With over 20 years of experience in the grants management field, Barbara is active in the Grants Managers Network, a national organization that provides a forum to exchange information about grants management and its relevance to efficient and effective grantmaking.

She is a graduate of Temple University, with a B.S. in human resource administration.
