Chris supports the Foundation's Watershed Protection program, helping protect the Delaware River watershed, which provides drinking water for 5% of Americans. In addition to building a portfolio of grants, Chris helps the watershed team evaluate the Delaware River Watershed Initiative, develop communications strategy and improve the use of talent, technology and resources. Before joining the Foundation in 2015, he co-founded, managed and raised capital for a software company called Zokos.
A West Philadelphia native, Chris holds a master's of environmental management (M.E.M.) from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.A. from Vassar College. While at Yale, he worked as the lead research program coordinator at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment. He has consulted for regional and international NGOs, startups and Fortune 500 companies on sustainability projects involving water, agriculture, climate-change, environmental lifecycle assessment and impact investing.
